First the good news: I got my car back. Now the bad news. I placed my order and with Jayhawk and paid my deposit three weeks in advance. This was for a convertible from IL to TX and I have it in writing that they were to top load the car on an open carrier. I was told to give a one week window for possible pickup of the vehicle and the destination city. Once that window had arrived I called them to see when my car would be picked up and was told "We just started working on the order. Carriers call here all the time and we will give you as much as 24 hours or as little as 6 hours notice before your car is picked up."

Three days passed and I was calling every day. I spoke to Ron, as my move date for my furniture was approaching. Finally, Ron told me that they don't know when someone will pick up the vehicle and I might have a better shot if I increased my cost above the price they quoted me. I upped it by $25, added an optional alternate destination city (which I did not prefer, but might help get it out the door) and sent the info in writing. 30 minutes later I get a call that the carrier is ready for pickup and will be on its way in less than one hour! So much for 6 hours notice! Regardless, it took 3 hours for the driver to get to me while I waited and finally was told that I needed to drive my car two miles away to where the car carrier was located because they could not figure out how to drive to my location due to high clearance. Frustrated, I drove my car to the car carrier and took photos of my car with the driver in the photos so I could document the condition. I noticed he had the ramp down and the top of the carrier had a slot open. I then had to walk back to my house 2 miles away.

Two days later I get a call at 11 PM telling me the car would be delivered one day later. I gave the driver the phone number of a contact to meet him and take delivery. He did not call my contact and instead dropped off the car without signature and left the keys in the mailbox of the dropoff address. I had someone go by and check out the car and it was COVERED in grease - including the soft top of my convertible! I spent $200 having the car detailed and taking the convertible top to a specialist to degrease the top. This was clearly not top loaded.

EVERYTHING went wrong. Location, time, pickup, condition, cost, service. I will never use this company again and am completely unsatisfied with the results.
