Beware

Beware the dark and twisted world of auto transport. I entered into a contractual agreement with Interstate Auto Movers that included a pick-up date between 6/24 - 6/28/10 to move my car from Rochester, NY to Littleton, CO. When my car wasn't picked up by the 28th, I started calling and e-mailing the company to little avail. When I finally did get hold of someone, he informed me that I would have to pay more money because no driver would pick up my car for the amount quoted. This is a classic case of "bait and switch" extortion. The contract meant nothing when it came to price or pick-up time.

This situation took place 2 months ago. At that time we informed you more than once that there was a delay with the truck due to a mechanical failure, we also informed you more that once that we had 2 possibilities of other trucks being available to pick up the vehicle. You clearly agreed and understood this according to our notes However you decided to start complaining to the BBB so we decided to cancel the agreement. Furthermore we did not bill your card for non-refundable fee and subsequently there is nothing more for us to offer you. MG
