On 07-18-2008 I contracted with Interstate Auto Movers to move two vehicles from Hannibal, Missouri to Joplin, Missouri. We agreed on a price of $650.00 and they said I would have to pay a $250.00 deposit. And I agreed.

We set estimated pickup dates of September 15, 16,17th of 2008. I had to have these cars at an auction on the 20th of September.

I had no further correspondence with this company until September 10th after I e-mailed them to inform them that I had not heard from the customer service department as they had told me. George Simonetti (the one I signed the contract with) e-mailed back and said “I just received your email and I am replying to you right away so you don’t think that we are trying to rip you off. I do not know what the status is regarding this particular move but I am forwarding your email to customer service and dispatch dpmnt. And somebody will be contacting you shortly regarding this.”

Five days later on September 15th, 2008 I emailed again asking why no one had contacted me and what was going on. George Simonetti again emailed and said “I am sorry. I do not know what is happing with this particular move. I am asking customer service to contact you ASAP regarding this and they already know that you need vehicles delivered by Friday this week.”

The Customer service department never called me and I tried several phone numbers I found on the internet until I was connected to a person named Julia at (305-728-6246). She was very vague on if she had a truck lined up, so I emailed George Simonetti again on the 15th of September and asked him to confirm the pick up schedule for Wed September 17th, 2008. George Simonetti emailed me back of September 16th and said “If they got back to you with pcik up date it should be scheduled. I will try t confirm it through out the day with you. Unfortunately I don’t have access to pick up and drop off inf. But I will try to email her regarding this and when I hear back from her I will confirm it for you.”

I did not here any thing, and on September 18th, 2008 one day after the third day for pick up. I emailed George Simonetti. And he replied “I am not trying to rip you off. I do not know what happened regarding this I forwarded every email that you sent to the customer service dispatch dpmnt to take care of this. I apologize for any inconveniences. I will ask them again to contact you regarding this.”

I told him I had gotten another transport company that will pick up the auto and asked for a refund of the $250 deposit.

George Simonetti emailed back and said “I already forward your first message regarding the cancellation I can not help you with that. They will contact you regarding this. Thanks and sorry for any inconveniences, but I did not do anything wrong.” (Attached email # 5)

I had to hire another company at the last minute and paid the new company more, to get these autos moved on time. They never once attempted to pick up the autos, never once called me. They are con artist. Marcus Goldberg II is a lair. And, why would I cancel the transport when they have told me it is being taken care of and I was being led to believe it was being taken care of. Have Goldberg II prove on what days and what transportation companies attempted pickup. See attached email correspondence between myself and George Simonetti the person listed on document authorizing the initial deposit.

We attempted on 2 separate occasions to pick-up the vehicles but the customer refused to release them. Our agreement states that we will not refund the deposit if the cancelation was not made 10 days prior to the estimated shipping dates. Furthermore the agreement states that we have the right to refuse the return of the deposit due to a "false pick up" which was done not once but twice. We submitted our position to "his" credit card company and they judged in our favor, case closed. MG
