This company was referred to me by the seller. Very friendly staff. Got the quote from Mike. Questions answered by Brandy. 2 other transport companies quotes were $375 & $630 higher. All companies quoted 2-3 weeks pick-up times.I decided to go with inter-city lines mainly because of the price. I faxed my order in on 9/21/06 and was called by Brandy who confirmed receipt of my order.I waited patiently and when i received no calls from inter-city by the 21st day i called on 10/13/06 and asked Brandy when my truck was scheduled to be picked-up. She did not know and gave me no further info. I then asked who did the scheduling and was told Jeff. I waited and when she didn't offer to transfer my call to Jeff, I asked to speak to him. Jeff was very friendly and said that he would call me back. Before the end of the day to my surprise, Jeff called me back and told me that he had a truck leaving Florida and would have the driver (John) swing by Oklahoma to pick up my truck and to call him next week. I waited until Wed 10/18/06 and spoke to Jeff and he told me that my truck would be picked up by the weekend. The truck was picked-up on the 20th of Oct and was now on it's way.On the 23rd, i received a call from the driver who left a message on my cellphone. I returned his call 3 hrs later and left a message to call me that night at home or at my work the next morning. Got no response, so on Tuesday the 24th, i called and finally got ahold of the driver and made arrangements to meet the next morning on the 25th.
All went well but there is poor communication on their part. I know they are probably very busy but as far as them contacting you and keeping you informed, forget-about-it. I feel that if i hadn't called to find out when my truck was going to be picked up, it would still be sitting in Oklahoma.
