I shopped around for shipping for a 8,200 mile one owner modified 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, from Denver Colorado to Spotsylvania Virginia. I entered my information on a movers website and suddenly started getting dozens of calls and emails just way too overwhelming. I researched the different types of haulers there were brokers and carriers. Brokers simply are talking to dozens of haulers getting bids on your behalf to haul your load, the range of pricing was $1,100 to $1,400 for enclosed shipping with no idea who would actually transport the Camaro. Carriers however have drivers who are working for them or directly contracted to them and use the carriers equipment/trailers and other items. The pricing for the carriers was $2,100 to $2,495 for enclosed shipping. Even with the difference in cost it was worth the peace of mind to go with a carrier. After receiving the estimates via email I to choose one of the three carriers that I narrowed down to, was suddenly made easier when I got a call from Matt Mgrilot from Intercity Lines inc say that they had a transport team scheduled to be in Denver in three days. Even though Intercity was the high end of the pricing I mentioned that to Matt and brought Intercity's pricing in the middle of the price range. Once I accepted on Thursday the 21st I was in the cue for transport, with no money down cash on delivery. On Sunday the 25th the seller was contacted by Skip and Lisa that pickup would be at his home Monday the 26th or Tuesday the 27th. Tuesday the 27th the Camaro was picked up and loaded onto the carrier. Lisa called me to let me know that her and Skip had the Camaro and what their route would be to and that should expect them on the 2nd. On the 1st Lisa contacted me to say that they were ahead of schedule could they drop it off that afternoon at 3:00pm. Skip an Lisa showed up on time were professional and very friendly answering all of my questions about their life on the road. So only six days from Colorado to Virginia with pick ups and drop offs in between is great. The great thing is that the Camaro was in Skip and Lisa's possession the entire time no swapping trailers no warehousing, just peace of mind. I will recommend Intercity transport to anyone who ask.
