I wasn't sure where to put stars against this experience - I would have loved to work with them based on the other reviews. My initial interactions with Jim were also good. But I have a complaint about their communication and expectation-setting.

Prior to making the reservation, I had correspondence with Jim who said I needed to get my reservation in soon because of some car shows coming up. So I did.

Upon submitting my reservation, I was quoted that my Maserati would be picked up in 10-14 days. 14 days later, I was told it would be another 14 days before it could be picked up due to their trucks being at one of the big auto shows. Within that correspondence, they apologized and to be fair, car shows seem to be their "core" business and they probably struggle with resources when a show consumes all of their trucks.

I understand why they bumped me - they have to serve their core market first. But I'm disappointed that they a) didn't tell me sooner and b) they didn't reply when I sent an email asking to cancel the order.

I think in the future I will take "we have car shows coming up" as code for "you are not going to be a priority...be prepared to wait".

Dave, We are very sorry that your experience was not a positive one. As we mentioned when you placed your order we were busy with the Scottsdale Auctions and I am sorry for not being clear about availability. We would like to have you as a customer and would like to extend you a $250 credit for a future shipping.
