Avoid avoid avoid! My girlfriend used these folks to find a carrier for her vehicle from Houston to LA. 2 weeks later I used the same company but my quote was $150 higher because of a change in the market conditions. We agreed that the car would be picked up on Thursday (with the trunk and interior loaded up to 100lb) and delivered no later than a week later i.e Wednesday of the following week. The carrier did not arrive on Thursday or call to inform me that they would not make it. After several calls with multiple parties, the carrier eventually arrived on Saturday morning and said that the contract they agreed with IMoveAuto did not allow for loading the vehicle so they would charge me an extra $200, an arbitrary amount which he reduced to $100. My flight out of town was on that day so I had no time to dispute the matter. The next Wednesday my car was neither delivered nor was there any communication from the carrier or Lion Auto. After several calls again the car was eventually delivered late at night on Thursday. The carrier again claimed that the contract they agreed with IMoveAuto allowed them to deliver up to 3 days after the 7 day period agreed. This too was not in my contract. Both IMoveAuto and the carrier refused responsibility and blamed each other for it.

I am sorry for any inconvenience. Remember that we are Brokers so the carrier does not work directly for us my job is to get you the best offer for the correct dates. when we did the contract we always specify that you can place up to 100 pounds of items in the car on you case the car was really packed. when carrier built there loads the do not only calculate the size but also the weight as the go through weight stations. if we do not specify the extra weight in the car additional fees may apply. Also all dates are estimated as this guys are driving hundreds of miles so sometimes the truck drivers experience delays. Even if I tell you I am going to meet you across town for dinner I may be late because of traffic, no the drivers have to pick up and drop cars along the way. Remember they are not late because they want. the fastest the deliver the faster can can pick. another car and make more money. All this is explained in the contract Again sorry for any inconvenience.
