The auto transport business can be intimidating. You call someone you've never met and make arrangements to hand over your valuable car to a stranger and trust in the fact that you will see it again at it's destination. In our case we met Nichole of Hilton Auto Transport over the phone after extensively checking the internet reviews such as this one. She was professional and accurate and held my hand in spite of my many questions, some of which she could not answer. For example, because they are a broker, they actually have to search their contacts for a reputable truck driver that also happens to be organizing a run from our pickup location to our destination. So Nichole could not immediately provide a name or exact pickup time until she found one! As the pickup date approached, she was able to provide a "window" of tiime, which turned out to be right on. I was contacted by a towing service, that arranged to pick up my car to take it to a yard for pickup by the actual truck. That was done to not delay a pickup on about the day promised. 9 days later, the car arrived in perfect condition (but dirty) within one day of when it was promised. The key is Nichole, who coordinated all of this which included: a tow-truck pick up, a hand-off to the truck, a distribution process onto a smaller truck carrier and subsequent delivery to me. The cost was a bit more than some of the others, but they seemed to have earned the premium paid through jealously maintaining their reputation on the internet reviews such as this one. Overall, they did what they said they would, when they promised it and it went smoothly, thanks to Nichole's patience and guidance.
