I bought a 1948 Packard on Ebay, and this was my first online car purchase, but it was 900 miles to the north in Davenport Iowa from Fort Worth, TX.....after considering doing it myself as I do own a trailer that could handle it and a Ford Powerstroke Excursion to pull it....I did not want to use 3 days of my llife and about $600 in fuel and motel/meal cost.

After hearing so many horror stories online about transport problems, lost money, damaged cars...I did my research and found Hilton to be at the top of the list for a no-problem company.

Nicole was the person at Hilton that I dealt with from start to end. She was always friendly, informative and fast to call back, after messages were left.

My seller decided to rework the front brakes at the last minute, which I fully appreciated, but it did foul up the initial pickup date. The second pickup call to the seller resulted in "it would be better if you could pick up this wknd" not understanding that trucks are arranged and if pickup cannot happen them you go to the end of the line and start over for pickup. They cannot sit idle waiting on a particular pickup to become just right for the seller.

Luckily, Nicole located another truck , for the 3rd try due totally to the older gentelman I was buying from and the pickup was made very soon afterwards....I got the vehicle in a little over 48 hours, very fast. The driver called for final directions and this was a very smooth and painless transaction.

I highly recommend Hilton and should I buy another good Ebay classic car I will use Hilton without considering any other hauler. I did the rapid delivery, open hauler option and was very pleased.
