I am glad I found this site. I went through about a dozen companies to find the best pricing and reviews, and I read the contracts online. Some of the websites that offer multiple quotes really didn't get any responess. Hilton wasn't the cheapest or the one with the most reviews on this site, but they had few reviews under 5 stars. One or two others had great reviews, but I didn't care for the customer service on the phone - one upped their quote over the phone by $200, which was $300 over Hilton's quote. Their reason was that the route was extremely booked up, which sounded legit, but apparantly didn't have any impact on Hilton. Nicole stuck to her original quote and the pick up and delivery happened so fast and so smoothly that I barely had time to blink.

I booked with Nicole at Hilton Auto Transport on a Saturday by fax. The car wasn't ready. The people (my parents) who had the car needed to get the plates and get it out of storage. So we set a tentative date for pick up at the following Friday. As it turned out, my folks got the car Wednesday. I called Nicole and she posted it immediately. Thursday afternoon, she got a call from a driver who could pick it up Friday morning. They came just about exactly when they said they would (Victors Transport), parked exactly where we suggested and they were very nice.

They were supposed to leave California on Sunday and make it up here by Tuesday or Wendesday - we weren't sure because of snow storms expected on the Oregon pass. Their contact, Laurie wasn't sure if they'd drop cars in Oregon first or come up here first. I called Nicole to tell her they'd gotten the car, and she said that, if I didn't hear from them in a day or two to let her know and she'd check into it. She really was kind and friendly and proactive every step of the way.

I expected the driver to call a day ahead and let me know what day they'd be here... what morning or afternoon....but they didn't give me quite that much notice... that was the only potential glitch...it would have gone perfectly if I'd have remembered to turn on my cell phone!

On Tuesday they called at 11:40 and said they'd be here around 1-1:30. Unfortunately I was at lunch and missed the call - but when I got back at 1:40, they were still here.

Interestingly, I was going to tell them to go down the road to a big gravel lot but they drove all the way to the house - which is a winding dead end road, so they had to back out part of the way to turn around. They were very professional and friendly and the car was fine. They didn't complain about the road at all. I would absolutely use them again in a heartbeat, and I'd also be sure to turn on the cell phone. It was kind of cool that it was a father and son team, too.
