I chose to go through Hilton Auto because of all of the great reviews. I have never shipped a vehicle before and I was very skeptical about the whole thing. The first phone call I made to them I got to speak with Nichole. She advised me to call back when my pick up time got closed because she could probably get me a lower cost since I was calling over a month earlier.

Once it got closer, I gave her a call on 12/09 to talk with her to get things going. I e-mailed Nichole all the information she requested from me the same day. Over a week went by with no word. I e-mailed Nichole on the 19th to inquire about what the next step would be and to remind her that we were packing up to leave state around the 21st due to my husband being in the Army and us getting transferred to a new duty station. She replied with "I'll get back to you soon."

I didn't hear anything back from her until 01/03. As a customer I felt unimportant, while at the same time I am concerned that my car is in another state without me and I have not a clue what is going on.

Once I finally had a quote on 01/04 I felt better...that didn't last long. I was referred to Mobile Transport which showed up a day late for pick up without even a phone call. Then I received a call on the following Wednesday night from a woman from Mobile Transport stating that my car would be delivered sometime between 7pm-10pm the following day (Thursday).Thursday night came and went. I called the company's work number and left a message and I also called the woman's phone number back that called me to tell me the drop of date and time and left a message. No response what-so-ever. I stayed up until 3am waiting for them to show up or call. Nothing! I finally received a phone call Friday at 11am from the driver stating that he would be in Augusta in an hour. I asked him why I received a phone call stating that my car would be delivered the night before and no one called to update me. His only response was, "Oh, that must have been my wife."

Once my car was finally dropped off around 12:30pm, my husband addressed the driver about the issue. His response this time was, "The company was closed and it is customer services job to contact the clients and not mine. I also don't have access to the phone numbers." My response to that was REALLY? You told me it was your wife who called me two nights ago... is she your customer service line? Could you not call her and get my phone number to update me? I thought that he was very rude and unprofessional.

After I spoke with Nichole about the issue I had with the transporter, she said that she will no longer use them. DO NOT USE MOBILE TRANSPORT! Pay the extra money to be able to work with a better company and have a better sense of security!! Nichole also apologized for the communication not being as open as I would have liked it to be.

Future prospects: If you have any issues, call the broker (Nichole) and talk to her.
