Why did I bother calling the others?

I called Amerifreight and they made me feel like Oregon was in a different country. And, then they insulted my intelligence by saying fuel costs are going up so the quote didn't apply. Of course these are teaser rates on this site to get you to call the lowest first. By the way, they never called back after they stalled me the whole weekend to see if there were any trucks in the area.

Then I called Statewide twice and left a message. They never answer their phones and they never returned my calls. Why do they bother to give quotes if they aren't going to call you back?

So, after wasting four days on the above two companies I called Henry. He answered on the 2nd ring. He sent me an invoice to proceed in 15 minutes. A carrier picked up the order in one hour and called the dealer to arrange pickup that night. I got my 1960 Studebaker Champ pickup 18 hours and 800 miles later.

Do yourself a favor and call Henry first.
