Too Pushy

I bid on this shipment through UBid Shipments and the day after I accepted a bid I received a phone call saying they driver would be there to pick up the car the following day. This was great, I thrilled how quickly they responded and emailed my husband in CA, where the car was being picked up. Then about 2 hours after my email the dispatcher called my husband and told him that they had a truck on its way to his location and would be then in an hour and a half. He had to scramble trying to find someone to cover his meetings and get a ride to the agreed upon location. It was quite hectic for him and this last minute change in plans created a bit of stress but he was a trooper and got the car to the truck. On the paperwork we received it said the vehicle would be delivered in 5 or 6 days. That was fine and we were in not hurry. But once again the trucking company unexpectedly moved up the schedule. Matt called me at 7:45 PM, 3 days after the vehicle was picked up to tell me that they would be delivering the vehicle the following afternoon; AND that they couldn't deliver it to my home or work since the truck cant travel on I495. So he expected me to drive all the way to Reston, which from where I work would have taken me 45 minutes to get there, to pick up my car. I had appointments scheduled that afternoon and it wasn't possible for me to spend an hour and a half driving to and from Reston. I suggested that the driver simply drive my car to me and then take a cab back to his truck, after all I had paid for door to door service. I was told that wouldn't be possible so we had to select another location that would be closer to where I worked but still outside I495. I was forced to take off work rearrange my schedule and then the driver didn't even arrive until almost 4PM. Normally most people don't mind having their shipments deliver early but really less than 24 hour notice of pickup or delivery is inconsiderate. This company had no respect for my time. I will not use them again. For now on I'm going to just sell my car a purchase a new one when I get to my destination.

THIS IS AN UNFAIR RATING FOR HJM IF THE CUSTOMER WOULD HAVE CALL ME I WOULD HAVE MADE THE TRUCKING CO WAIT FOR DELIVERY NEXT TIME CALL ME IM THE BOSS NOT THE TRUCKER I COULD HAVE FIXED THIS INSTEAD YOU GIVE ME BAD RATING THIS UNFAIR FOR ME
