I am not satisfied with the company M2 Reeves chose to ship my vehicle from South Carolina to California. Since the pickup was 7 days later than I had planned, I had already left on my road trip and was not there to do the initial inspection of the vehicle. Big Mistake!! I should of had a neighbor be a witness or took close pictures of my car prior to leaving. Upon reciept in California I noticed 3 large dents on the roof and horrible swirl scratch marks like sandpaper had been used. I asked the shipper about it and he said that they were marked on the initial inspection. There was no way to tell if the sheet was done a week ago or 5 minutes before showing up so I had no ground to stand on since I never signed the original sheet. I went back and forth with the gentleman and he said it was already there when they picked it up. So I finally signed the sheet (which I wish I didn't, or put a side note on it) b/c I had no proof. What made me really upset though is they tried to cover it up by using a black sharpie on the huge dents! After paying $40,000 for the car, the last thing I would do is use a marker to hide a huge gash. So obviously the shipper messed up at some point and tried to cover it up and since they had the advantage of NO initial inspection, used it in their favor. I just wish they would have some integrity and admit their mistakes versus trying to cover it up with a sharpie. The vehicle was also extremely dirty as if they had rode the entire 3,000 miles on a dirt road. I am so confused on how a car can get so dirty and so damaged (in one week) from such a simple task of loading it on a carrier and driving on the interstate.
