I'm posting now, 5 months later, since my contested charges through my Credit Card company is over and I am no longer liable for paying Golden Auto's $200 deposit. Do not use them, they are a horribly ran organization that should not be in business.
I am military member that has moved 14 times in the last 23 years. I've shipped cars before and NEVER had an experience like this. I made my reservation for picking up two cars in Kansas and shipping them to Washington state at the end of May of this year. I didn't need to move the cars until late June through mid July. I explained that the cars could be picked anytime after 24 June until 14 July. 14 July came and we had to leave the cars there with a friend, as Teddy continued to tell me that they'd get picked up 'tomorrow,' which came and went several times. 4 Days after we left Kansas I got fed up with Teddy or his assistant not calling me back or not answering their phones, so I got another company to pick up the cars.
The other company charged me $400 more than Golden Auto's quote, but they picked up the cars the within 2 days and delivered on time.
Golden Auto lowballs a quote to get your business, but they don't follow through. They need to NOT be in business. His practices are no better that Madoff's way of doing business. Teddy told me no less then 4 times that he had a driver coming through, only to tell me later that I misunderstood him. He's a liar.
