First time transporting vehicle and was the worst service experience that I have ever had. The qoute they had given was not accurate, and changed all the time. The quote given was for $775 and at the end I ended up paying $1050. When I contacted Global Automotive Consultants to find out info, spoke to Shanta, that was very polite and seemed to be very helpful, little did I know that I would be ripped off at the end, and that she would rarely return my phone calls and voice mails. She gave me the price of $925 quote, but then said she would reduce it to $835 for military discount. I then agreed to the terms and set up the move with them. She sent me a credit card form to sign and put a $75 deposit, and set the date to be picked up on 12-14-2012. Everything seemed to be fine and legit. This is where the problems start, I contacted her several times before to find out what time the driver was going to pick up the vehicle, the day before pickup on 12-13 she contacted me saying that the driver was going to pick up during the evening on pick up date. On the day of pick up I called in morning to confirm time of pick up and after several attempts she called back and said there was a problem, that the original driver flaked out on her and she could not get a hold of him. She said that she was going to find another driver. she called back later in the day and said she had found another driver but it would not be picked up until three days later and the price would not be $925 because the driver was going to charge more, but she would refund the $75 deposit for the inconvenience. I was upset that I had to contact her on the day of pick up to find out that they were not coming that day, instead of her notifying me of the situation, and now they were going to charge me more. They finally did pick up vehicle on 12-17, I checked my credit card to see if deposit was ever refunded that was supposedly to be 3 business days and did not see refund, I did not receive any updates on when the vehicle would arrive or a contact #. After several attempts of calling shanta she txt me the carrier number and said that I should've I received the deposit already and that she would check on it. I called the carrier and they said that the vehicle would arrive on the 12-27 and that the price would be $975, I told them that shanta said it was 925, and they said I needed to take it up with Global. I called left voice messages and txt to shanta about situation and did not receive any call backs. I finally received the vehicle but ended up paying $975 and yet to receive the $75 refund so I ended up paying $1050 when I was quoted $775 online then $825 when I spoke with Shanta. This has been the most unprofessional and dishonest business, that will try to milk any money they can from you. They can keep the deposit if that means more to them then taking care of there customers. Being in the military and tend to move all the time and having other soldiers moving all the time, I will definitely not recommend this company to them and will share my experience with them. I hope who reads this review takes my advice and find a reputable company, take the time to do your home work about a transport company before doing business with them, so you won't be blind sided like I was. As of this day I still have not received a reply back from shanta, the date is 1-3-13.

Now, I explain to you it would be more. You had no problem. I send out in every quote that goes out the price are based on some routes. I oringally told you it would be $950 and you said" I am military can't you give me some kind of discount. I said I would see what I can do. My fee is $200 I only charged you $75. I am not going to apologize. I gave you the name and the number of the carrier company that was coming to pick up your vehicle. I told you to call them. You wanted me to call them. That was not longer my job. I fulfilled my contractual duties. You would text me and I a would answer your text messages. I appreciate that you guys put your life on the line for america. It's what you have chosen to do. I respect that. It does not mean that I am obligated to discount everything you want.
