Charged Credit Card Without My Authorization

If you're planning on using this company...BEWARE. I used Get It Done Transportation (GIDT) to transport my mother's vehicle 2 years ago, and all went without a snag. HOWEVER...I was going to use their service this year, but what happened while I was setting up the service this week borders on fraudulence. Unbeknownst to me and without my authorization, GIDT saved my credit card from 2 years ago and never deleted it from their system. When David M. was taking down my information, he said I would need to pay a deposit, and I explained I would need to call back later with my mother's credit card number because the service was for her. GIDT decided to help themselves to my personal credit card that they had in their system from 2 years ago and processed the charge for the deposit and did not wait for me to call back with my mother's credit card number. Not only did they process a charge I hadn't authorized, they charged me $175 deposit when David had quoted me $150. After I spoke with David the first time, I received an email which I thought was a quote for the service. It said that the deposit was $170 so I emailed David asking him to confirm the deposit amount to which he replied confirming it was $150. That same evening, I was checking my credit card account online for something unrelated and noticed a charge from GIDT for $175 which I found shocking since I hadn't provided them with a credit card number to set up the transport service. I immediately emailed David to dispute this charge and requested that GIDT void this charge. When I didn't receive a reply back, the next day I spoke with David, and he said they would process a refund and that they would confirm via email. I have not heard back at all from GIDT so now I've had to submit a dispute claim to my credit card company. Based on others' reviews on Yelp, it appears that Get It Done Transportation has a pattern of charging customers' credit cards without their authorization. I cannot do business with a company that is not trustworthy. It is a shame that this company currently operates this way because I was planning on being a repeat customer before this all happened.

Reading this review is extremely disheartening. We have been in business almost 2 decades, and transport OVER 12,000 cars a year, We are 4 stars or better on every major platform as well as an A with the BBB. Sandy review is in no way a reflection of how we conduct business, in fact like she said in her review we have worked together in the past with no problems. She called back for a quote that was converted over to an order accidentally, she claims her card was charged fraudulently but that was never the case the quote was mistaking turned into an order, ALL consumers are protected by their credit card company why would I charge a card just to get a charge back and hurt my integrity and merchant account. We have 1000's of clients that have used us as late as 10years ago and as early as last week that would love to vouch for us and be a reference. We transport for some of the biggest dealers in the country including BMW of Fort Lauderdale, Ferrari of Los Angeles. NEVER any problems and if there is we make right of it. I tried to reach out to sandy but she would not take my calls. Sorry for the misunderstanding and I am glad we were able to get it fixed. Dave Pein 888-325-1899
