Horrible Experience

If you are considering using Get It Done Transportation, you should think again. I had a horrible experience with them. I tried them because I thought they were a good company. Based on their quote, I was supposed to get the following: "3 references on the driver, the drivers ratings (must be 98% or better), FULL background check, Motor Carrier License #, Insurance Docs (showing your vehicle is fully insured w/ NO DEDUCTIBLE held against you) and maintenance records on the truck (so you know the likely hood of them breaking down is very rare)". I never received anything from them. I also never got notice as to when the driver would be showing up to pick up my car. Every time I called the company to get an update, they kept telling me to wait. Our car was supposed to be picked up two days before we travelled and I finally heard from the driver the night before we were flying out. He came out to our house very late after 11pm to pick it up. As expected, we were really nervous that the car would not be picked up at all. The company also jacked up the price at the last minute when I had no choice to go with a different company. The original quote was for $590 and the price went up to $750 the day of the pick-up. Our worst experience was in delivering the car. The car arrived 5 days later than promised. Again, the company never gave us an update as to when to expect arrival. I called Kat and Dave repeatedly and they seldom bothered to return our calls. When I called the trucking company, LNR Services, their drivers and dispatchers were extremely rude and told me to stop bothering them and to never call them again. They told me the car will get there when it gets there. After I reported this to Dave, he promised he would look into it and again he did not bother to return our calls or to even notify us as to when the car would be delivered. The car finally did arrive 5 days later than promised, but with no call from Get It Done Transportation. I was really close to reporting the car stolen to the police because I could not get any kind of update from anyone for almost a week. DO NOT USE GET IT DONE TRANSPORTATION!!!

1st want to apologize Santiago for the delay in pick up/delivery. In rare situations a truck run a little behind due to many reasons (i.e. mechanical issues, customer delays, weather, auction delays and but not limited to traffic delays) this was all communicated with Santiago. He was made aware we had a delay in getting the vehicle loaded but we promised the driver would be there before they flew out and he was. The price increased- Get it Done GUARANTEES it's rates. Our prices NEVER change. Unless the car is misrepresented as running and its not, it's a different car when we arrive or the customer has more then 150lbs in the vehicle. This is explained before booking. Unfortunately, the car was loaded w/ personal belongings the driver told Santiago only up to 150lbs allowed at no additional cost. if they wanted to put more there would be a up charge Santiago negotiated and agreed. the delay on delivery there was a mechanical issue (we provided proof of receipt for the truck being fixed expenses w/ dates) Santiago wanted an update literally EVERY 10 min, calling non stop. Very professionally I explained the truck was in the shop we offered a discount and to pay for his rental. I did politely tell him it was out of my control the truck broke down and I promised once on the rode we would deliver his car first and the 8 others that were on the carrier. That night i received a call my 21yr old nephew and his GF had been hit by a drunk driver running a red light and passed. I was out of the office the following 4 days. If Santiago was calling my desk line he would have only received VM, we do offer a 24hr customer service line and he could have reached someone at anytime. Our company transports close to 10,000 cars a year- in 2 years we received OVER 1500 5 star reviews and less then 30 negative.
