I'm writing this review because I spent too many hours over 2 wks researching too many transport companies, reading too many emails, sometimes 4 or 5 from the same company. I know, they're just doing their job. Some were flat out rude, couldn't be bothered to adequately answer my questions or assure me of my concerns. Felt like I was in an open livestock market in a foreign country! I'm a Christian, so I almost went with 1 of 2 Christian- ID'd outfits, but I couldn't accept their terms. I landed on Get it Done, supposedly a family owned co., after reading all of their reviews. I read in between the lines, and I really admired how professionally Dave responded to some people who wrote negative comments, especially when I thought their gripes weren't such a big deal.Very courteous, w/o sappy talk, just real. That's what finally tipped me over to them. I immediately had buyers remorse, but when I fretted, I rec'd a firm assirance in reply and my car was picked up 4 or 5 days later by the nicest guy possible. Smart, personable and courteous. Sorry for the anticipation of a negative stereotype, truckers...this guy could've been my neighbor! Very impressed. These folks charged about $50 more than several other outfits I considered, and in that, took a higher fee than some, but I'm very glad that I chose them and heartily recommend them to you. Takes a while to figure out all about how this business works, so it helps to know what to expect realistically and then ask all your questions, until you're comfortable giving out your CC #. Glad it's done and over with! My daughter in San Diego now has a car to drive - phew! Happy trails - DK
And no, I wasn't paid to write this, thought they did ask me to write a review. This is how I'm saying Thank You. No regrets - I love that! Didn't wanna have to kill anyone.... :o
