Why I Chose "Get It Done Transportion"

Two words: Honesty. Integrity. Unlike other companies I contacted (and especially one in particular), Get It Done Transportation refused to accept any money from me until they had a truck commitment and firm pick up date. Working with Linda was quick, easy and very pleasant. She kept in communication with me and in only a few days my car was on its way to my grateful daughter in Los Angeles. (Here car had just died of natural causes). After my initial BAD experience, I knew I had chosen the right company. I would gladly recommend Get It Done Transportation to anyone. Keep reading and you'll see why.

I don't ship cars very often. In fact, I'd never done it before. After sending out an inquiry on the internet I had tons of transport companies contact me with pricing and promises. I reviewed them all and chose the first one that promised a pick up within a very few days....(i.e., "We will have a truck in your area on Monday!") I thought, great! This is going to work out perfect! Well, after taking my $150 deposit, Monday turned into Friday and that turned into the next week and so on, etc. Although they provided many excuses, the bottom line is they couldn't find an available truck to transport my car. Adding insult to injury, I had to constantly call the company for updates because they wouldn't call me. It was like they just didn't care. I was disgusted so I started looking for another company to do business with. I feel extremely lucky to have found "Get It Done."

Follow-up - I contacted the first company to get my deposit back. They said I would only get $60 of my total deposit of $150. I argued because I didn't think they had done anything to deserve the $90 they were planning on keeping. Bottom line - I have my credit card company trying to get ALL of my money back from this deal. I probably won't see it all....so lesson learned. Buyer beware!

Hello kevin, Thank you for taking the time to write about your great 5 star experience with us then comparing with the nightmare you were dealing with before contacting. That is the difference between a company that takes a up front deposit opposed to a company like ours that DOES NOT take upfront deposit until the carrier is assigned.
