When I was looking for a place to ship my 66 plymouth Belvedere I looked at these reviews to find a good place and of course was amazed by the number of postitive reviews so I immediatly picked Get It done Transportation. Well good ol Dave first off was kind of hard to reach different time zones was the excuse even though his website states 24/7 which is not true I called many of a time and left a message and never got a call back and had to call him back constantly I get the vibe he is way understaffed doesnt seen he can handle work load on his own. T he trucking company he picked was the worst of it really horrible communication all the way around. First when no one call and on the last day of the 3 day window he gave me I called him and heinformed me the would be a day late due to a blown turbo i never could confirm this story myself dont know if it was true. Then the trucking company finally called and it turned to 2 days late then the drivers could barely speak english so you could get any time frame from them when they would be there. finall they showed at 9pm after stating it would be 11am to 12pm so even more late. Then while loading that broke my exhaust piping on my car. I t get s better I didnt get one call not one from them for 8 days I called and left several mesages none were returned I was told 6-8 days transit It got there on the 9th day the driver called me at 10am saying he would be there at 12 and then he didnt shot till 3pm so i got off work early for nothing. T he drive also denied any damage done to the exhaust after I noted it on the bill of lading he wrote over it DONT AGREE. He wasnt even the trucker who loaded it I have no idea if my car sat on a lot for some where for a day or so or what. Then on the back of the Bill of Lading it states exactly this The transporter will not be responsible for any exhaust system,mufflers, or tail pipes. No exceptions. This was one of many things they say their not responsible for any damage to anything on your car they are not resposible so BE AWARE OF BILL OF LADING ALL FINE PRINT IS ON THE BACK DO NOT TRUST ANYONE EVEN GOOD OLD NICE DAVE. I just dont want the same nightmare to happen to anyone else The trucking company he use was MOBILE TRANSPORT INC out of spokane wa so stay away. Chuck, I 1st would like to apologize for any inconvenience you endured with you car arriving 1 day late, unfortunately in the industry the drivers work really hard to make schedule but there are many factors that can sometimes delay them by no more then 48hrs (i.e. weather traffic mechanical issues and not limited to customer delays) As far as the communication we spoke several times every call was answered and any unanswered call was always returned within the hour. When the vehicle was loaded, you contacted me telling me they may have damaged the muffler, my words to you were, contact me once the vehicle is delivered and we will get it right, even though Get it Done is not responsible I told you I would make good of it if need be. I was never given the opportunity to make right of it, learning of your experience through reading this review. You stated in your review that I would try and discredit your experience, I would never do that, I in fact welcome ALL feedback good and bad to help better our company and learn from every experience so it does not happen again. I notice you left your email for anyone that wants to hear of your experience, I would say to any potential customers, I also have over 100 emails and phone numbers (at request) of customers from EVERY state in the nation that would be happy to tell you of the 5 STAR EXPERIENCE with Get it Done Transportation, we transport nearly 70 cars a week. Thank you for your feedback, and my apologies you feel service was not up to par. I hope this shows as a positive not as a negative that all of our reviews are real legitimate and done out of the kindness of the customer based on there experience. Dave Pein 954-688-9190
