non-responsive, uses unethical carriers

I have several issues with GetItDone Transportation:
1. Responsiveness: My plan was to fly cross country and have my vehicle shipped, so I needed to make sure the shipping took place before I left. After verbally agreeing to price and schedule, the owner would promise that he would call me back with details within 1-2 days. After 3 days, I had to call him several times to get him to answer. Worse still, he would then claim to call me back in a day and fail to do so. It’s shocking how much work I had to do to give him my business.

2. Car carrier selected: The car carrier, F&S Transportation, not only damaged my vehicle but has been totally unresponsive to my damage estimates and requests for reimbursement. In fact, they are claiming having no record of damage to my vehicle. Further, the car carrier claimed no responsibility for several additional small dents we found on delivery.

I also reached out to GetItDone regarding the damage to my vehicle, but as you can guess, they have not responded to any of my calls.

All in all, GetItDone is non-responsive, does not honor agreed-to timelines, and hires unethical car carriers. There is nothing good about this company to report.

Although I feel this is an unfair review against Get It Done, I as a owner take full responsibility and respect the feed back. Unfortunately there are some key facts missing here Mr. Daly kinda jumped the gun with writing a review as there was damage done during transport ( our first incident in 9 months and 3,554 cars later ) the carrier did take responsibility and is in the process of it going through the claims department to be resolved, Mr. Daly was aware of the process and can take up to 1-3 weeks to clear, unfortunately the process wasn't moving fast enough for him but it isnt just a cut the check deal. The carrier is very reputable with over 10, 10 car haulers and have been in business for more then a decade. As far as my lack of communication as per my 275 plus reviews on this site and many others that is not common, I was in fact in touch with Mr. Daly and he was picked up within the 3 day window as promised and delivered across country in 4 days. I am sorry for the claim, we do not live in a perfect world and although we try not to minor accidents can occur. I;d like to go on record with sayin again it is our first incident in 9 months and 3, 554 cars transported later, it is very uncommon and as I type is being resolved.I hope this shows my reviews are legitimate and done out of the goodness of the customers experience with Get IT Done Transportation
