Looking to transport vehicle from MN to AZ, decided to try the broker to route. Received over 25 quotes probably using the same few truckers with a bunch of broker - so I threw out the low ballers and excluded high rollers. That left a handful of midline brokers and I checked them out. Garcia’s came out good and I contacted them. Both Rosa and Alex quoted and after speaking with Alex found they are family...good! Alex was talking to me and hung up - found later he was talking to a driver and me at the same time and guess who was more important. Next day he explained the option days for pickup and he could only fulfill one when the prior day he could do both. Next day he got my deposit and provided the paperwork, told me he’d be in touch constantly and even though I called and emailed, I never heard from him until AFTER the vehicle was delivered. I ended up contacting Copart, found the driver who picked up, checked the internet DOT and called the driver. I was in touch with the driver until delivery. Alex? Sure, he called afterwards to confirm delivery and conveniently avoided questions about not responding. The driver? This guy is tops and I use him in a heartbeat. Alex and Garcia’s? - He’s middle of the road, made a quick buck and had me worried.
