Poor Communication - Late Pickup & Delivery

I used Garcia Auto Transport to move a Lexus from a Miami Lexus dealer to Virginia. Communication was great until the deposit was taken, on a Thursday. The vehicle was then not picked up until the following Wednesday evening. I was told the pickup was sourced to a 3rd party carrier. That carrier had neither a valid DOT license or a valid phone number. I was told this person was legitimate when I asked for more information, and they said they had a brand new 18 wheeler. Shipping was promised in 48 hours, so on Saturday (3rd day) after researching the DOT website again i was able to find a cellphone number for someone else on Google who had the same home address. That person said their truck broke down, and it would 3 additional days to deliver. It was finally delivered on that 3rd extra day, which was really 4 days after it was promised. To recap, I was promised pickup within 24 hours of deposit, and it took 6 days to pickup. I was promised delivery within 48 hours of pickup, and it took 6 days to deliver. I saved all of $100 using this carrier over someone more reputable, and I wholeheartedly regret my decision.

This order was actually dispatched twice. The first time we send a truck driver to the dealership, the vehicle wasn't ready. when the client asked if He lost his first payment we told him the we were going to coordinate another truck driver for him with no additional fees. Second truck driver was assigned for this route and indeed was a brand new seven car carrier. The fact that the truck driver was late is completely out of Garcia's hands, we don't have control of what happens when this guys are on the road. Vehicle was delivered in perfect conditions and the client also knows that the was always communication with Garcias and he also had the truck driver information. Which by the way truck driver does have a valid DOT license (only way he can actually work).
