Late on pick-up

We were leaving the country and had a dead-line to meet. We were advised by Angels that the pick-up would be on Wednesday and the driver's name was Oleg with Gabriel's Car Transporation.

I called Oleg to find out where he was. He knew nothing about the pick-up and advised some guy who couldn't speak English would be at my house on Thursday morning as early as I wanted. I said 8am is fine. He said the driver is on his way from Houston (five hours away) on Wednesday at 10am. We were not called as to why the driver didn't not pick up on Weds. We had to contact the driver. He said his truck was full and he was on his way back to Oregon. We called Alex at Gabriels and he said he would find out what happened when he returned to work on Thursday am. This was 3pm Pacific time (leaving work a little early). We called Angels and they called Gabriels and then Alex called back assuring us that the driver would be at our place by 8am the next day.

On Thursday morning, we waited from 8am to 12 noon. Still no driver. We called Alex at Gabriels and he said the dirver was 170 miles from Dallas and should be at our house soon. At 2pm, still no driver. At 5 pm still no driver..finally we had to leave. We understood the driver arrived around 8 pm on Thursday.

I will say that Angels did try to push Gabriels to get the car picked up. If I wasn't leaving the country the next morning at 6 am, I would have selected another service.
