A difficult transport

This was my first time transporting a vehicle so I obtained several quotes and read the reviews posted on each. Based on a quote that was "ballpark" with the others (neither highest nor lowest) AND the reviews posted, I decided to go with GT Auto Transport. Amy was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. However, the actual transport company was NOT professional in several regards: 1. They wanted to pick up the car the day before I said it would be available, which I hesitantly agreed to. However, they came 3 hours after the stated time (I had someone waiting at the site) and the person waiting with the car was not contacted about the delay even though their cell phone # was available to the transport company 2. The driver demanded cash or a personal check AFTER Amy had instructed me to have a cashier's check available (turned out it was a different company transporting the vehicle than what Amy had told me) so arrangements had to be made to send the car COD involving my contacting someone at the receiving site going to the bank and getting cash. In addition, I had to make a second trip to the bank to redeposit the funds from the cashier's check that I had obtained via Amy's instructions 3. The driver was SHOCKED that the car was inoperable even though ALL correspondence with Amy via telephone or email stated such 4. It took over an hour to load the car on the truck due to all the problems listed above. Based on the reviews for GT Auto Transport, I was expecting a higher level of service and was very disappointed and inconvenienced by the lack of professionalism all the way around.
