The 1950 ford truck received damage to the front bumper while it was loaded on the trailer March 3rd 2015 and unloaded from the trailer March 6th 2015($535 in damage) Full Throttle as a $2500 deductible they informed me to sue them if I want my money. I just want to save others all the grief that as occurred to me. The price of delivery went from $965 to $1300. Caution others stay away. When the truck was being loaded it was damaged. I have pictures from the previous owner showing the bumper hitting the ramp. I was told that they had to get new ramps for the trailer to move my truck ( the bumper of my truck is 8" from the ground where it was damaged.) I also have pictures showing that there was no damage prior to the vehicle being loaded onto the truck. However, the truck scrapped the ground while it was unloaded because the driver forgot to put the wood planks on the bottom of the ramps.( How could this happen twice if they are professionals and specialize in the transport business) When he delivered the vehicle it was approximately 10PM CST. There was no way to properly inspect the vehicle for any damage in the total dark. Apparently this company has no policy for delivery after hours and being able to properly inspect the vehicle. The driver would not allow me to remove the vehicle from the trailer until it was paid in full. Also, it was impossbile for me to inspect the vehicle while it was on the trailers upper deck. It was not until I had paid and signed papers that I was able to actually inspect the vehicle. What sense does this make? He also changed the rate on me for the delivery from $965 to $1,300. At no time did i ever get a bill of lading that Mr. Lopez stated that there was damage to the vehicle. I even asked the driver for the Bill of lading and he stated they are not required to use a bill of lading. All I received was an invoice stating what I had to pay the names and addresses of both locations, year, make model and color of the vehicle . After making an insurance claim I was informed that Full Throttle had a $2,500 deductible and that they would be responsible for the damage to the truck in full. The insurance company sent out a letter to both Full Throttle and myself but I received no response from Full Throttle. I called the insurance company back again and they sent out another letter to Full Throttle but I still did not get a response from them. I tried calling Full Throttle 15 times approximately with no response. I also have call records to prove this. Finally, I got a call through to Full Throttle on 3/31/15 and Tony Lopez informed me that he was blowing me off and told me to "sue him" if I wanted my money. All of which I have documented and recorded on my tablet. I also have a taped confession from Tony Lopez saying that he was responsible for the damage to the bumper but not the roof of the vehicle. Tony, per your request I have decided that my best action going forward would be to sue you.( Your advice) It's not necessarily about the money at this point. I don't want anyone else to have to go through what I have gone through this last month.
