I shipped a recently purchased 1997 Rolls Royce Silver Spur from Van Nuys, CA to Washington, DC.
Despite being in a covered truck; the car arrived absolutely filthy due to a leak in the roof and the truck driving through a rainstorm. The rear half of the car was caked in black grime and rust residue after water evaporation that concealed damage incurred to the car until after I washed it. There was also additional damage caused to the car by the truck driver not waiting for the hydraulic system to pressurize.
I emailed and called Freightport several times and got ZERO responses. I wrote a letter to their insurance company and sent it via certified mail. It has been a month and no response from the insurance company. No one has ever attempted to contact me at all about the damage to my car.
STAY FAR, FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THEM IF YOU OWN AN EXOTIC OR CLASSIC CAR!!
