Vehicle was delivered ahead of schedule. Driver insisted on being paid before he would even drive onto my property. Vehicle looked OK from the street view so paid. When vehicle was unloaded, comments were made about the condition, and the driver shrugged them off. At that time, I was unsure if the damage happened pre-load, or post. Driver left without giving me any paperwork from his company, and without me signing anything. I called the selling car dealership the next morning and had them fax me a copy of the pre-load checklist they signed. No damage. I sent an email to the broker, as that was the only contact info I had. He was able to email me the insurance docs for the carrier, and contact info. The driver then called me and went on about how it was the dealers fault, not his. He did later admit the damage happened while car was on his trailer. I got the carriers insurance to come out, Progressive, and they wrote a repair estimate. They paid a little over a week later. Progressive told me I had to get the $1000 deductible from the carrier. Progressive sent a copy of the letter to Filkins notifying them to pay. Since then, I was hung up on at Filkins via phone. I then generated an invoice and mailed it out with another copy of the letter from Progressive. I gave them 15 days to pay. That time has expired, and no payment or contact. They also will not respond to my emails. Beware of Filkins transport!
