I initially contracted with Moving & Storage Inc. dba Neighbors Moving . They sub contracted with Father & Sons. I listed everything being moved and submitted it to Moving & Storage dba Neighbors Moving and was quoted $4084.97 and paid a deposit. My furniture arrived two weeks late and held hostage by Father & Sons Relocation Services. I had to pay an additional $2200 to get my furniture released. Even though I showed them the quote from the company they were contracted by, Moving & Storage aka Neighbors Moving, they did not CARE. They said it was between me and Moving & Storage. When I called and emailed Moving and Storage aka Neighbors, they said it wasn't thier problem that I need to work it out with THEIR CONTRACTOR, Father & Son's relocation Services.
This is the classic bait and switch. I was able to dispute $552 which I paid in deposit to Moving & Storage as Father & Sons REFUSED to include it on their Bill of Lading. So basically I am out $1650.
Neither company would budge on their position or help resolve this. I WOULD NEVER USE EITHER!
