Received my quote on 4/7/2010 for $725.00 from Jonathon ( 1-877-288-6528) ,$175.00 down payment, and $550.0 C.O.D. vehicle picked up late. when vehicle arrived, driver from Amal delivery express demanded $675.00. I told him my paperwork has my amount, I was told to talk with an Andy at ( 1-866-312-0212 ) as it turns out, Jonathon and Andy are the same person. This person is very uncooperative and belligerent. Flat out lied to me about pricing claiming I don't have any paper work with my rate of $550.00. I was email another invoice on 4/21/2010 , 3 DAYS AFTER MY VEHICLE WAS PICKED UP, and was told they wanted more money or they will put my vehicle in storage at $75.00 a day and not tell me where the vehicle is at. The Police where called and wrote on there report that the company was trying to take more money. This also WILL BE reported to the U.S.D.O.T. Both officers will be present fro my law suit against both Fairway Auto Transport, and Amal Delivery Express. Also just heads up, Fairway uses a hole bunch of other names out there. AND THEY ARE NOT MEMBERS OF THE B.B.B.

AS YOU CAN SEE THIS GUY IS NUTS, HE HAS SUBMITTED 3 REVIEWS, ONE FROM KH, THE SECOND FROM KEVIN AND THE THIRD FROM RIPPED OFF, ALL YESTERDAY AND TODAY, THIS IS PROOF THAT THIS PERSON IS SO IMMATURE AND THAT WE ARE TELLING THE TRUTH AND THAT HE IS JUST A JACKASS, HE HAS CALLED ME AND BLACKMAILED US THAT IF WE GIVE HIM BACK THE $125.00 HE WILL REMOVE THE REVIEW, WE DO NOT ACCEPT A BLACKMAIL THREAT, WE EVEN OFFERED HIM A CREDIT OF $50.00 TO GET RID OH HIM, AS YOU CAN SEE HE BOOKED THE CAR ON 4/7 WITH A 4/12 PICKUP AND THEN CHANGED THE PICKUP TO 4/16 THAT HE IS AN OUT AND OUT LIAR- - SEE COPY OF CONTRACT POSTED BELOW, WHICH CAME FROM HIS EMAIL. hE EVEN INDICATED TO US THAT HE WOULD KEEP PLACING BAD REVIEWS, THIS PERSON WILL BE SUED FOR THE AMOUNT OF 150.00 ADDITIONAL WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHARGED MAKING UP THE LEVEL OF SERVICE TO 1-4 DAY PICKUP, AS WELL AS SLANDER. iN HIS LAST REVIEW HE INDICATES THAT WE CHEATED A STROKE VICTIM, THAT IS PROBABLY HIM, SINCE HIS MENTAL AWARENESS IS "NIL". pEOPLE LIKE THIS LIKE TO CAUSE TROUBLE IN ORDER TO TAKE THE GUILT AWAY FROM THEMSELVES. We were very clear when the contract was sent to the customer in that if you have chosen the wrong service the additional cost would be added at the end, I guess that this person did not read the contract and is now blaming us for doing something wrong, as far as scamming we never scam anyone, we do not have any hidden extras added to our invoices, the only item that we have is 2 different types of services a] standard service 5-10 pickup and b] priority service 1-4 day pickup, the differences are explained in the quotation as well as the contract. The customer placed the order on 4/7 with a pickup on 4/12, and then changed the pickup to 4/16, the car was picked up on 4/18, 2 days after the requested pickup date, if the car was picked up within 1-4 days the additional charge of $275.00 should have been charged , we only charged them $125.00 which they have complained anyway and made the driver miserable and lied to the driver several times, first he tried to give the driver 300.00 and then another amount but never the correct amount, this guy was a crook from the beginning and he says that he is an upstandinding person, we picked up the car on 4/18 and delivered on 4/23 and still he tried cheating us, if necessary we will post a copy of his contract indicating all of the above, as well as any emails received from him, including todays email indicating the above] [order booked on 4/7 [pickup date requested on 4/12 and then changed to 4/16]. These people are probably very aware how to try and cheat people out of the money for the service that they rendered, they look for any type of excuse. We are presently securing an affadavit from the driver of what took place with this customer at the time of delivery and that he made the driver wait approximately 8 hours playing with the paying of the money, that he is going to the bank to get the money and then comes back with 300.00 instead of the proper amount and then doing the same thing over and over[the customer could have been charged $50.00 per hour waiting time , but nothing was charged. We will follow this behavior with the military regarding these people, i am sure that the lying and cheating will be welcome information. Just to go a little further the police were summoned and they instructed the customer to pay the driver the full amount including the priority fee, the reason for this review is that they do not like to pay or hold to the truth, the other items in there review have no validity in settling this matter, they were fully aware of the additional charge for priority and tried to scam us out of the money as they must do with other people that they deal with. Our additional charge was fully legitimate as they knew, but played dumb when the car being delivered. The Carrier and Customer will both acknowledge the condition of the vehicle by signing a copy of the bill of lading. Damage must be noted in the proper place on the bill of lading and signed by the driver and Customer, regardless of weather or time of day. Signing the bill of lading and inspection report without notation of any damage verifies that Customer has received vehicle(s) in satisfactory condition, and that Fairway, Carrier, and their agents are relieved of any further responsibility. Customer MUST check vehicle thoroughly at time of pick up and again at time of delivery. 4. Driver/carrier will drive vehicles on and off the transporter. They will pickup and deliver to requested areas ONLY if safe, unrestricted, and mutually agreeable. It is illegal for any vehicle transporter to be over the approved length or height according to DOT regulations. Low hanging wires and/or trees can damage vehicles and the transporter itself. If you or someone you designate is not available to release or pickup the vehicle(s), they can be driven to designated areas. Any additional charges imposed by the trucking company will be passed on to the customer. 5. All vehicles to be delivered with a balance due must be paid by cash, postal money order, or certified funds only, payable to the trucking company. Deposits are accepted thru the use of Paypal only. 6. Primary insurance for your vehicle(s) is provided by the carrier assigned to your move. Full coverage insurance is provided by carrier[retail value of automobile] a copy of the carrier insurance certificate will be available to the customer after car is assigned to the carrier. 7. It is against DOT (Department of Transportation) Regulations to transport vehicles with any personal items inside the vehicle. The driver has to enter the State Inspection Stations at each state. They can inspect the vehicles at any time and give the Carrier a fine up to $10,000.00 and/or remove the personal items from the vehicle. Auto transportation companies have the authority to transport vehicles only. Also, personal items are not covered under cargo insurance. It only covers the vehicle against transport damage. The company as a courtesy allows the customer to place 100 pounds of personal items in vehicle at their own risk [confined to the trunk]. 8. Fairway, Carrier, or their agents shall not be responsible for any of the following: a- Damage to undercarriage, exhaust system, suspension, wheel bearings, tie downs, brakes, alignment, tune ups, battery or charging system. (No inspection evaluation is performed at pickup location) therefore Fairway nor its Carriers accepts responsibility for them. b-Damage not detected at pickup location due to weather, lighting, or vehicle too dirty to inspect. c-Damage to car phones, video equipment, or any antennas under any condition. It is recommended that you remove them. d-If you put personal items in the vehicle, you will be responsible for any fines incurred by the carrier, if weight is in excess of 100 pounds allowable. Insurance does not cover personal belongings against theft or damage of any kind, this should be covered by your homeowners insurance or apartment renters policy. e- Damage caused by fluids or objects flying up from the road, or out of the sky. Glass damage caused by road debris. f-Damage to cloth or vinyl convertible, T-Tops, boots, bras, caps, or decorative tops. g-Damage caused by vandalism during transport. h-Damage caused by leaking fluids, such as battery acid, motor oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid, radiator coolant, or fallout resulting from acts of god. i-Damage caused by failure of factory tie-downs or pull through frame tie-down holes. j-Vehicles that have defective or insufficient brakes, parking brake or parking gear. k-Fairway reserves the right to transport vehicles via another trucking firm. l-Damages caused on a brokered load become the responsibility of the trucking company hauling the vehicles. m-Vehicles that are INOPs (Inoperable) at pick up or become inoperable during transport will be subject to a $200.00 INOP fee. Fairway will not be responsible for rental car reimbursement. It will be necessary for the customer to make transportation arrangements during pick up, transport, and delivery of vehicles. Fairway will not be responsible for the following: 1-Mechanical malfunctions exhaust assembly, alignment, suspension or tuning of engine. 2-All delivery times are estimated and Fairway does not guarantee delivery on any particular schedule. 3-Damage of any type caused by and/or resulting from any type of weather conditions: (snow, ice, rain, winds, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, sand storms, act of God, etc.) 4-Damage to convertible tops. 5-Fairway reserves the right to transport vehicles via a sub contractor. 6-Furthermore, the following Terms and Conditions shall apply: 7-If we are unable to secure a carrier for the quoted price, Fairway reserves the right to either refund the deposit in full or request an additional sum of money [with customers approval] in order for the vehicle to get moved. 8-Any and all actions or proceedings shall be tried and litigated exclusively in the State and Federal courts located in Crescent City, Florida. Furthermore the undersigned agrees to accept service of process sufficient for personal jurisdiction by registered or certified mail, to the address set forth below or its registered principal place of business. Additionally, the undersigned agrees and promises to pay any and all charges incurred for services provided and all costs incurred in the collection of same, including but not limited to reasonable attorney's fees. 9-Based on Customer's acceptance of this agreement, Fairway, and/or Carrier is authorized to operate and transport Customer's vehicle from point of origin to the destination specified in the bill of lading and to drive said vehicle either at origin, destination or between the points of loading/unloading and the points of pickup/delivery. Whether this agreement was accepted online, or sent to Fairway by mail or fax, Fairway and Customer agree that they have engaged into a legal contract for service.
