The whole process of trying to get a carrier and one that was knowleable a curtious was somewhat of a task because no one had ever heard of transporting a racing kart before. But after I spoke with numerous other companies that was wanting over $1000 some of them between $1200 and $1400 to transport a racing kart that weighed 180 pounds and was 56 inches wide in back and 48 inches in front with an overall length of 79 inches ''Express Auto Transport'' gave me a quote of $645. The next to the cheapest was $771 because the back was 8 inches wider than the front and they charged an extra $174 because of that. They had origianally quoted me $597 which was the cheapest at the time until I gave them the deminsions of the Kart then they said it measured over 48 inches in the rear and they had to charge the extra $174 because of those extra 8 inches, which was just ridiculous. The contact information was great at Express Auto Transport and so was the update calls and emails. And Larry was really a very nice and knowledgable person to actually meet. He had some nice bikes as well as a 1923 Ford Roadster I got to see during my delivery. The only sad part was my grandmother had passed away two days before and since the delivery was already in route, they had to make the delivery three hours after her funeral. But my grandmother knew how I loved racing and I know she was proud to actually see me from above recieve my GP Italian Parilla 125cc Racing Kart. Sincerely yours, David Holland
