Failed to Pick Up RV/Poor Customer Service

If I could rate this company a zero, I would. Please do not use this company!!! You will regret it if you do. Very unprofessional and dishonest. I hired them to pick up an RV from Copart in FL. The vehicle needed to be picked up on Friday, October 1, 2021, or I would be accessed storage fees going into the weekend. I was assured by Adam & Bradley of Exact Transport that the vehicle WOULD be picked on that day, and that’s why I hired them. If they said it COULD NOT or WOULD NOT, or there is NO GUARANTEE for it to be picked up on Friday, October 1, 2021, I would have hired another company. Later that evening I received a phone call from the transport company they assigned the job to. The driver, who was in Texas at the time, called to confirm the pick up of an air purifier system??? He had no information about an RV. The RV was never picked up as promised. Exact called me after 7 pm to confirm the RV was never picked up. Really??? I could have hired another company to pick up my vehicle if I had been informed earlier that day. I turned down three other offers to hire Exact—a big mistake on my part. Now Adam, the owner/manager, will post a response and say they never “confirmed” or gave me an “estimate” date of pick up, and that is a LIE!!! They were hired because they said they COULD pick up the vehicle on Friday, October 1, 2021!!! After getting the run around from them, I decided to hire another transport company. I didn’t feel like I could trust them to pick up and transport my vehicle safely. I had occurred a $50 storage fee from Copart due to the vehicle not being picked up on Friday and sitting on the lot over the weekend. I told Adam and Bradley that they were responsible for the fees. Of course, Adam refused to pay. He called me twice on Sunday, October 3, 2021, and was extremely rude and unprofessional. Because I am a woman, he thought he could holler and scream at me during our conversations. When my husband called to speak with him, his tone was different. You don’t win when you treat customers like their business doesn’t matter. And when you make a mistake, accept the responsibility and take care of your customer. Thanks to Brenden at Goliath Auto Transport, my vehicle was picked up and delivered to home as promised. Again, avoid Adam at Exact Transportation at all cost!!!

The order was given to us on Friday October 1st requesting a same day pick up of October 1st (not even a days notice). We do our best to help the best we can even under such short notice, but unfortunately the carrier we found had to cancel right after dispatch claiming trailer issues. If we were given the recommended notice of ATLEAST 48 hours we could of easily replaced the driver with someone else. We actually found a driver for the following business day. We are not responsible to pay your fees, especially when copart gives you a grace period for pickup. You came to use on the last day of that grace period. You attempted to scam our company as well claiming your copart fee was $50 but copart only charges a $15 late fee after one day. Again, we recommend our clients to be more responsible and place orders 2 days in advance, thanks.
