Review Poor follow-up

I was satisfied with the service I received up until the point when I was contacted by Evergreen to inform me that my vehicle was going to be shipped. I was happy that the pick-up for my vehicle was going to be at the begining of my five day window. I received the drivers (carrier's) information and was told that I could contact the driver and work out the details of my vehicle pick-up, which I did. The carrier's office stated that I would be contacted in the afternoon, closer to the estimated time of my pick-up, to coordinate the details of the pick-up site. However, I called several times in the afternoon, left messages, and nobody contacted me, this was on a Saturday. On Monday I contacted Evergreen who acknowledged that the carrier had been unable to pick-up my vehicle because the truck had experienced a breakdown on Saturday. I can accept the fact that the truck had problems, but the fact that Evergreen knew and never contacted me to let me know was a little bit of a let down, and the reason why I cannot give them a full five star rating. While I did not get the VIP service, I did pay for the First Class shipping. Again, the initial service I received was great and I would use them again in the future to ship a vehicle.
