Ask lots of questions! Money is deducted from your checking account right away with no guarantee that they can find someone to take your vehicle from point A to point B.

Money was deducted on June 10 for a June 20 pickup. A promise was made that I'd hear from a carrier within 3-4 days to confirm pick up time. No call. Numerous calls were made for information, each one ending with "call us tomorrow - we'll probably know something then". At the end of the day, June 20, I cancelled the order and asked for an immediate refund. Although it wasn't immediate they did say they'd issue it within a week.

When another week went by and I did not get the refund I called and was told I never made payment to begin with. Putting me on hold they came back with a "oops, I guess you did pay" reference and promised an overnight delivery of the check. They sent the tracking number but failed to make it to the Fed Ex location before the last pick up of the day.

I ended up calling another carrier who picked up my car the very next day (Friday) and delivered it on Monday.

SMO did NOT pay for guaranteed pickup. We a have a 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee though wheras you will receive a 100% refund of any monies recieved by us anytime you cancel for any reason before your car is loaded on our carrier! As you can see we Fedexed SMO her refunded and wish her the best!
