We moved across the country from Ohio to Arizona. EC Transportation picked up my husband's car, a Mazda 3, on January 27, 2012 from my parent's house in Ohio. It arrived three days later, on January 30th (a day early than originally planned). The driver drove half way into our neighborhood and we met him there. He pulled our vehicle off the shipper, had us sign the paper, and left as quickly as possible. The driver was reluctant to communicate with us.

Before he got back into the carrier I saw a large scratch on the rear bumper of the vehicle. I knew that it wasn't there before, but the driver said that it was marked on the paper when the vehicle was picked up. He shrugged his shoulders and left.

We drove the vehicle to our house and noticed more issues - large dents in the hood and more scratches. We called the owner of the company, and he said that since it was marked, it wasn't their problem and that he trusted their drivers.

The paper that my father signed before it was sent was marked with the preexisting condition of the vehicle. It appeared that the driver had marked every panel of the vehicle for some sort of scratch. A reasonable person could not discern the actual condition of the vehicle from that piece of paper.

They refuse to believe that they could have possibly pinched our car over an 1800 mile journey. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.
