This is my third time writing this review because Duo-Fast had it taken down the first 2 reviews saying we were not a true customer, but indeed we were I have the contract and CC statement to prove it. I have sent a copy of my credit card statement and the shipper / copy of contract showing that they charged us the deposit to transport, but they have failed to reinstate my review. I will keep reposting until it stays on here.
Spoke to Nelson Smith on 7/6 about transport on my sons vehicle to California and asked if they took credit card, Nelson said YES.He quoted us $1000.00 He said it would be picked up on 7/14, The pick up never happened.I told him it needs to be picked up by the 18th as my son had to catch a flight out on the 19th. My son and I called him several times to find out when the p/u would happen, he was giving us different stories. Finally found a driver to pick up on the 18th then told me that it would be $1400.00 now and told my son he needed to sign another contract, what choice did we have since my son was leaving the next day. Received the car 7 days later to find out that it was COD after nelson said they took credit cards. I didnt have the money so I had to go to the bank to take cash out on my credit card at 32% interest just so I could pay the driver. I called and complained to Nelson and he told me "You should have read the contract" and there was nothing they cou ld do.Yes, I should have read the contract but I had trusted his word. DONT USE THIS COMNPANY !!!! THEY ARE DISHONEST.. I have used DT transport in the past and had good experiences with them...Shame on Duo Fast for treating our military personell like this.
