After waiting almost 2 weeks foranother company to pick up our SUV in the Outer Banks of NC, and listening to excuses for the delay, I decided to call Door to Door. They told me the hard truth and what I needed to know, i.e. that the compensation offered to the transporting company, especially considering our remote location for pickup. was a problem. I immediately cancelled the other contract and signed on with Door to Door. Within 5 days we were making arrangements to drive to 95 to meet Mike, the polite and professional driver who loaded our vehicle onto his carrier for the trip to Texas. It was worth the drive and we appreciated the honesty. The vehicle arrived safely at its destination within 3 days.
