after searching for a low milage crew cab dually , i found one in new york that needed to be transported across the country. i hired a company 2 weeks ahead of time and schedualled the truck to be picked up while i was in town from california , my nightmare began when the phone calls were not getting returned to me , i was in town for 4 days and the company was supposed to pick up the truck on friday, my flight leaves on sunday , needless to say my truck never got picked up and now i had to leave my truck in new york and get back home to california . on monday i finally got a call saying they priced it too low and they needed another $350. and it will go.i guess the lack of experience knowing the difference in a regular cab pickup and a crew cab dually was not expected from a supposed top transport company. well , i agreed to pay since i now felt helpless and already gave all my information and a deposit , well thursday came along and still no call , that was it , i had no confidence in that company and cancelled the service . i decided to call door to door and they gave me a price , explained since it was a crew cab dually it would be $1550. and it would be picked up in 3 days, also the driver would call me 24 hrs in advance and let me know what time he would arrive to pick up the truck which was important since the party i bought the truck from needed to be notified , they did me a great favor and looked over the process for me . i am happy to say that door to door delivered my truck as promised , the communication from the driver and door to door was outstanding and hassle free. i would refer door to door to anyone , they turned a nightmare into a happy ending, thank you door to door.
