After submitting for quotes from various companies, Door To Door was the cheapest of the bunch for uncovered transport. I read some of their reviews on Transport Reviews, and it appeared the majority of the customers had good experiences with the company. I also have a friend that used Door To Door earlier in the summer to move a car from MI to AZ, and she said she was very pleased with both the price and the service. She also said her car was delivered earlier than promised.

After reviewing my online quote from them, I talked to Anthony at Door To Door late on a Friday evening with some general questions I had since I have never used a company to ship a car before. He was courteous, answered all my questions, and he said he would attempt to secure a truck immediately and would give me an update on Monday with any details. He also left me a couple phone numbers to call him if I had any more questions. As promised, I got a call from Anthony on Monday confirming the trucking company (AZ Auto Shipping), and the driver's name (Paul), and his contact information. Anthony said the driver would be ready to pick up my car in PA on Wednesday.

I called Paul to confirm he had all the information he needed before picking up the car. He answered the phone quickly, and answered all my questions. The car was picked up two days later on a Wednesday as planned. The car was supposed to be delivered to me in AZ in approximately 7-10 days. To my surprise, it took less than 7 days for my car to arrive. I set up a meeting place with Paul down the street from me since we both agreed it was going to be too difficult for him to try to maneuver in the narrow neighborhood streets. When I met him, Paul had already unloaded my car from the truck and had it waiting for me. I did an inspection of the car, and there were no signs of damage that occurred during transit from PA to AZ. The front of the car (it's white) was a little dirty, but that was not a surprised to me due to the fact an uncovered truck hauled my car over 2,000 miles. Paul and I called Anthony to confirm the paperwork and arrangements, and I drove off with my car shortly afterwards.

Overall, this was a very good experience. Door To Door had the cheapest quote out of the companies I contacted, and they delivered my car earlier than promised. The car was delivered with no damage obtained during its trip, and both Anthony and Paul were easy to talk to and deal with. What I thought could have been a stressful situation to move a car across the country turned out to be an easy transaction. I would definitely use Door To Door again in the future.
