I am writing this review to convey my appreciation for my vehicle transport experience. I checked about six different companies mostly for the best price as my transport was obviously going to be expensive, coming from Hawaii. Some companies would make cautionary comments that choosing the lowest price might result in unsatisfactory service. For example a delay in picking up my vehicle resulting in fines, or needing extra equipment costing more than previously quoted. I made my decision based on price and hoped for the best. At all times Door to Door made it clear to me that the quote cost would be the only amount I would ever be required to pay. When the vehicle arrived in Long Beach, CA my vehicle unfortunately had a problem starting. (later discovered faulty wire connection on starter solenoid.) But the Matson driver apparently over cranked the starter and killed the battery (dead cell). Thankfully the driver had a winch and was able to load my vehicle that way. Upon arrival in Texas the driver asked me to text him the location I could pick up the vehicle as he was in San Antonio area. After doing so the driver called me and stated he was under the impression that he was delivering to San Antonio. I am not sure how this misunderstanding could have occurred or if their actually was one but, I live in Alamo TX and San Antonio is sometimes called " The Alamo" but I always gave my zip code as an identifier and certainly a trucking company would want to check that. Any how Door to Door made good on that part of the deal and all though it took a little longer to coordinate another truck I am very satisfied with the final result and would use Door to Door again with no problem. (9 day travel time is from LB CA to Alamo TX)
