After dealing with a broker I'll call CAT for more than a week and getting absolutely NO where, I decided I needed a CARRIER instead of a broker. In other words, a company that was more "into" the nuts and bolts of vehicle transportation. So, I checked the Transport Review site and found Door-To-Door.

I sent an online request for a quote and within 10 minutes I had a reply with a cost that was slightly less than the one from CAT. I called Door-To-Door and spoke with Tony. In our short conversation, I learned more about the auto transport business that I would have learned from M or J at CAT in years. Tony knows what he's talking about.

I decided I would cancel the order with CAT so that the slate would be clean on the BIG BOARD, so to speak, and rebook it with Door-To-Door. I called Tony about 2:10 PM last Friday to give him the order. Unbelievably, at 3:20 PM - Just over an hour later, Tony called to say the vehicle would be picked up the next morning.

WHAT? In just over an hour, Tony had secured a "ride" for my vehicle? As Bluto would say, "Holy Shidth!"

Well, it was true - The truck showed up the next day and my vehicle was on the way to me. It was delivered early on the day promised and had no issues.

After dealing with personnel changes and an "out-to-lunch" guy at CAT, I simply couldn't believe getting a vehicle moved could be as fast, easy and professional as it was when dealing with Tony at Door-To-Door.

I can't tell you how good it made me feel to find someone who knew what they were talking about and followed through by beating their own estimate by almost three days.

Lucky? Sure, that played a part. But, it never hurts to be good at what you do - If you want real auto transportation, ask for Tony at Door-To-Door.

One more IMPORTANT thing - Door-To-Door wouldn't take ANY MONEY until a driver was signed up for my vehicle. That means a great deal to me because CAT's failure to do the job cost me a $75 cancellation penalty. Had the exact same thing happened at Door-To-Door, I wouldn't have been out a single penny. You be the judge - It's your 75 bucks.

I have absolutely no interest in or relationship with Door-To-Door, Tony, or anyone else there. I didn't receive anything to submit this review. I just want all of you to know how I was treated and how satisfied I am.
