Door to Door Transport

this was my very first state-to-state transport, so understandably, i was nervous... i did what everyone does these days: i researched by reading reviews... and what i'm most impressed with door-to-door transport was how they handled when things did not go well... in every business, there will be mistakes, but it's often more telling when things don't go right, the more telling question is how did the company dealt with the situation...?
door-to-door transport, being a family-owned family, appeared to take each cases that did not go well very seriously and addressed each to the best of their abilities... this greatly comforted me, and besides my general support for family-owned business, it was THE REASON that encouraged me to contact them...
my main contact was mary ann, the mama-bear of the family pack... but i also contacted other family members who were all helpful, kind, and generous with their time for my questions... i did not get an email that notified that my car was dispatched, so it was a bit surprising when the driver contacted me via phone, but since i was ready, it was picked up the very first day i said it was available for pick up... and was delivered in 4 days, from texas to washington...!!!
rob, the driver, was a quiet type, very careful with my car, but there was slight dents on the right side of the two doors, too minimal to complain for the long distance that it traveled... my apartment manager accepted the car for me, and i was told that rob tried to ask her to pick up my car in a different place than the initial agreement of door to door, ie to my apartment... he'd wanted her to pick it up some 1-2 hours away, which i'm glad she declined... he did not argue and delivered my car to the apartment...
after the car transport, there was an oil leak into the timing belt cover, but my mechanic said that this could and is usually a problem of older cars and not so much due to the transport... overall, nothing was stolen, there were minimal damage to the exterior, no major problems to the car, delivered faster than i expected...
door to door transport is a great service and i would definitely use them again...!!! the price was mid-range but very reasonable...!!! thank you so much for all your help... without the smooth transition, the texas-to-washington move would have been so much more stressful...
