Overpromised, Underdelivered...

Called in on Monday, for a pick up on the coming weekend (Saturday/Sunday). I was then notified that a carrier was scheduled to pick the car up on Sunday. Sunday came without any carrier calling. I called the broker on Monday. Turned out that they discovered a problem with the carrier earlier in the week and decided not to go with that specific carrier. We were disappointed that we were not notified earlier in the week and had to spend the weekend waiting at home. For a company that pride itself in customer service, this is totally unacceptable.

After further delays and price increase, a carrier was found for pickup on the next weekend. After waiting for two weeks, I had no choice. I had to either go with this carrier or wait further for an unknown amount of time. The carrier chosen by the broker turned out to be unreliable. He did not come on the planned day (Sunday) and decided to suddenly appear on Monday. I had to stay at home the whole Sunday again waiting for the carrier that never came. And when I went to work on Monday, I had to scramble and arrange for my parents to take care of the pick up.

The car arrived safely in the end after further delay. The supposed delivery date of Tuesday was delayed again to Wednesday.

Overall, I am very unsatisfied with the service. It was in summary a nightmare. However, I have not had a car transported across the country before. So it might be the reality of transporting a car across the country.

Tom.......after reviewing your order, I would like to bring to your attention the specific limitations you requested for pick up. Monday through Friday 8:00pm to 9:00pm but weekends perfered. 1.We had a carrier assigned to pick up your vehicle Thursday Oct 24 you cancelled because you did not immediately get a call from the carrier???? 2. We had a second carrier for you four days later and you cancelled that one too because the pick up did not fall within your one hour window, soooooo you told me to just wait until the weekend. 3. On Sunday Nov 1 we had a third carrier for pick up but you would not allow him to pick up until Monday Nov 2. So can you tell me what your compaint really is? ****MALIA AND HOLLY*****
