As if moving cross country is not stressful enough, the substandard quality with which my car was handled, and the lack of follow-up from DAS customer service representatives made a difficult situation worse.

My 2009 Lexus IS was shipped from Buffalo, NY, was expected to be delivered in Livermore, California on January 6th, and did not arrive until January 28th. When I was finally able to pick up my car it was covered with mud, both inside and out and had multiple warning lights (check engine and Air Fuel Censor). I had to immediatly locate a Lexus dealership and waste more time having them run diagnostics on my car. Lexus was nice enough to wash my vehicle and noted the presence of semi-translucent/irredescent blue patches covering 40% of my car (hood, roof, truck, sides/doors, etc), which were the result of improper handling of the car above mine...which caused caustic fluid to leak and leave its corrosive affects. I then had to take more time to have 2 claims done on cost to buff/paint out said markings. When I submitted my claims, DAS informed me that they would not cover anything under $250 and that I would have to file with my own insurance agency.

On a positive note, DAS offered me money back for the untimely inconvinience of my car delivery. I saved and faxed them the receipts for my multiple rental cars which totaled $375. There was no follow-up from customer service and I had to repeatedly call and email them, until finally after 2 1/2 weeks I was finally able to get an answer that I would be receiveing $300 back.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE PROVIDER! They are unreliable and even harder to work with. Very poor customer service.
