I had a great experience with DAS. I was also very nervous after reading the reviews on most of the transport companies. I shipped my son's car from California to where he is stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi. I chose terminal to terminal since he is not readily available to accept possession. I dropped off the car in Sacramento on a Saturday and the process and inspection were both fast and thorough. The car started moving by Tuesday. The time frame they guaranteed was 14 days. Their tracking system is great I would log into their system every hour or so and watch it go from city to city. The destination terminal was 80 miles from Keesler Air Force Base in Loxley Alabama. The car stopped at two terminals. One in southern California and one near Atlanta Georgia. It only stayed a couple of days at each. The car arrived at it's destination terminal one day EARLY (Memorial Day weekend). The car had no damage, no personal items in the car or trunk missing, and was washed and ready to go. The price would have been $600, but I purchased insurance and guaranteed delivery on time (14 days). I was also given a military discount of $100. With the guaranteed delivery I would have only gotten my fee for it returned if DAS were late. No big incentive for them really just peace of mind for me since my son only got permission to leave base and Mississippi to pick up the car on one date. We were treated in a courteous and professional manner by everyone associated with DAS. If you are researching transport companies remember more people will post a complaint about a bad experience than praise for a job well done! Thanks to DAS for making one military man and his mother very happy!
