The under surface of my car's front bumper had a tear from improper transport by DAS. This was not detected at the time of receipt as it was not easily visible. The car was fully inspected by a dealership prior to shipping and no damage was noted prior to DAS getting their hands on the vehicle. Their only reason for declining coverage was that it was not noted at the time of delivery, even though the contact gives up to 60 days to report damage that was not immediately detected.They did not send any assessor to even evaluate the damage sustained.You are better off not using (Un) Dependable Auto Shippers.I was not allowed to communicate with any supervisor after my initial claim was reported and a generic response was generated, despite my repeated requests. It is nearly impossible to contact the customer service representative assigned to you after you have paid for the shipment. If you do use DAS take pics of your vehicle and inspect the underside before signing off on the papers. Do not be rushed into it. Good luck. Please email me if you require a picture of the damage that was denied compensation to see for yourself if this could have occurred any other way than during transport. If there are any lawyers who are interested in a class action lawsuit against DAS, you can count me in. Fraud such as this should not be allowed to happen.
