Don't appreciate being lied to

Vehicle was late. Low tire pressure light was on upon delivery. Not sure why. Terminal locations are not convenient. On one occasion when I called to check the status of my vehicle, a female DAS employee told me she had my vehicle leaving on a truck that day (Tuesday), then suddenly said she was getting an update . . . that it was being delayed until Friday. I had already checked the automated system. I already knew my truck was not leaving until Friday. I don't appreciate the employees playing games, trying to make it look like they personally were getting a vehicle out that day, and then suddenly something happened beyond their control, at the very moment we were speaking, to delay the vehicle. They obviously don't have a problem lying to their customers? It was bad enough the vehicle was late. I am offended that the employee stooped so low as to be deceitful. I would not trust doing business with DAS again. After reading other reviews, I see other customers were lied to about when their vehicle was leaving.

DAS has researched this move and apologizes for any inconvenience that JMT encountered. As we have explained elsewhere on this site, our standard shipping does not offer a guaranteed transit time. The transit time is estimated. While we do offer both guaranteed transit time and expedited transit time options, JMT declined purchasing those options. Our records show that we made numerous calls to JMT to try to keep updated as to the status of her shipment. We apologize for the inconvenience.
