I dropped off the vehicle at the end of the day on 3/31/09 and was told that it might be a week before the car would be picked up. On 4/7/09, the car made the entire trip from start to finish in a single day, and then I received a phone call the next morning notifying me that the car was ready for pickup. The car was slightly dusty due to the open trailer, but that's to be expected; otherwise, there were no additional dings or paint chips.

Three things that I liked about DAS:

1. Flat rate with no additional fees.

2. Online real-time tracking system was great! I could use the DAS website to see where my car was at any stage.

3. You have the option to pay with or without insurance. I paid for the least expensive rate without it and allowed my auto insurance company to cover it. Also, I opted not to get door-to-door service and had to drop off and pick up at DAS locations, not a hassle for me.

DAS was upfront that there would be some wait before the car was picked up, and got it here on time. And best of all, I didn't have to drive through snow and ice in the Sierras. Thanks, DAS!!!
