Shame on ME

Simply put, they took 27 days (really 29 because I went to the depot and picked the car up) to travel across country because they let it sit in NJ for 12 days then put the car on a train to Missouri instead of a car transport to CA directly.

Shame on me because I had a similiar experience with DAS when shipping a car from FL to NJ 18 months ago (took 15 days) but since I had a tight window to ship the car I decided to use a company that had a depot so I could drop off the car when it was convenient for me.

I will never use DAS again because they simply didn't care what they did to my car after they had my money. I demanded a substantial reduction in their fee for my inconvenience and was rewarded with $125 discount and $50 off my next trip (ha ha).

This is the worst run company I have ever dealt with and I am surprised that they are still in business because there customer service is terrible.

We are sorry for our poor execution on your move. Although the delivery date is ESTIMATED, a vehicle arriving at destination 11 days past the ETA is not within our parameters of acceptability. In moving 80,000+ vehicles a year, there are times when a move does not go according to plan. Unfortunately, there were a small number of shipments that were negatively effected by the performance of our rail service partner. We are currently in the process of re-evaluating that partner relationship in order to establish a more reliable shipping channel. We apologize for the inconvenience this situation caused you.
